Hello Machida!

So, Machida 2 area, big and mysterious right? It is really hilly here and my bike is broken, so we have been walking a lot, so I am tired, but here is a rundown of what has been going on!

Monday: last Pday in Hibarigaoka, we went to the mall and I got Inca Cola and Guarana, really good South American soda. We housed and streeted at night, but we had Indo curry as a district. It was tast. I started to fix a puncture in my tire, but later, it turns out to be more than just a puncture... we found a really nice lady who listened to the Restoration message and was really happy. Elder Lapine and
elder Gerritsen will have to go back.

Tuesday: Taught Masato in the Morning about commandments, it all kind of just came out, so kpnow he has been taught all of the commandments, yup. Then we packed, it was sad, I saw all of the dead missionaries clothes that I have now, elder Spackman, elder Millard, elder Hawkins and elder Burnham. After studies in the afternoon, we housed and streeted, but no one wanted to talk.

Wednesday: Studies, district meeting, search for an open bike store, all of the stores were closed for some reason, saying by the the Asadas and Michiko shimai, Eikaiwa, and at night "fixing the puncture" in the bathroom. It turns out it was half fixed. I learned at Eikaiwa that inflammable means highly flammable, so I have put some dangerous stuff near heat.

Thursday, transfer day: so, started early for Machida, caught a train through Shibuya, won't have to go there for a while. Machida is kind of in the middle of the mission, so there are lines going everywhere. We met up and met the other Elders to say goodbye to Elder Battaglia, my trainer and to grab some supplies. We ate lunch and went to the church for planning, but our area Book hadn't been sent to us yet. So we left and dendō-ed around Tamagawagakuen-mae, our new home Eki. So many college students! We talked to so many people! Wow! They were everywhere!

Friday: even busier! We hopped into the area without knowing what we were doing and now we are so busy! We dendō in the morning down by the Eki, study in the afternoon, dendō in the later afternoon, and then went to Sports night, which was basically Sagamihara and Machida members and the missionaries, lots of people came, good opportunities to meet members. We had a hope to do weekly planning, but still no area Book until too late today.

Saturday: we tried to fix our bikes, I fixed elder Salamanopoulos', but mine died halfway to the church. Then we went on an adventure to help a family move to Yamato, that was a good service opportunity. We found it on time and helped get everything in the truck really quick. Then we dendō-ed on the way home and met some really cool people. In the evening, it started to rain, and we had an appointment to go with a friend to the Summer festival at the bottom of the hill from where we live. It was really big. We waited for him for a while, but he never came because he felt that he was too late, so we just used our dinner time to go and eat Gyros and Samosa from local stores that had stands, they were so good! We met the Machida Boy Scouts too! Lots of people.

Sunday: things got crazy: we had DCS, met the Warnicks and President Itō, President Warnick's counselor, sand Come, come, he saints alone for the ward with the sisters after practicing once, met so many people, including a member of Bless 4, a really popular band. We had a big missionary work meeting for 3rd hour and this ward is so excited to get to work! Then, after church, we get swept away to a Brazilian members house, and they are just so nice and funny! This ward is amazing, we had to walk a long time though, so most of our day consisted of Streeting. Good long day!

Monday: today we will go and fix our bikes, do shopping and clean the house. Tonight we will have monthly planning. Fun fun! We will see you all next week, but before that, look on Lds.org and
look for the new online Willie and Martin handcart company exhibit! Really good!
