The End of July, Almost

Hello everyone, transfer calls have come. I will transfer to Machida 2A, which will be a whitewash. Elder Battaglia will die there next week, my companion is Elder Salamanopoulos, who was trained by Elder Molen, who I was companions with for a little bit. Here we go, round 3 of a new area!

Tuesday: We went to Hoya and tried to visit Uenoyama Kyōdai, but he is still in the hospital. Then we went home at the beginning of the afternoon. As we were about 3/4 s of the way done with our studies, a huge rain storm rolled in with the lightning and wind and thunder of a nice storm. We even got told to be extra careful and not to dendō too far from the apartment by the honbu. So that evening, we streeted and housed near Hibarigaoka Eki.

Wednesday: we had a good meeting with Masato, read the Book of Mormon with him, and made plans to help him move next week. Then we had district meeting. We did Eikaiwa at night and had a good time. We are starting to do a message about preparing for obon through family history, so that was fun.

Thursday: Dendō at the Eki in the morning, and I kind of can't focus right now because of transfers, everyone in the mission has been scrambled and it is tiny now, so we keep getting phone calls, but here are the highlights.

Dinner with the Asada's and the Fukuda's,
Meeting with Kurenuma and Masato a lot (lots of progress!)
Kiyose dendō
We saw a summer festival
We had a conversation about Les Miserables in Japanese during priesthood meeting

Things that will happen this week:
Finish the Area map, ward list and my notes for Elder Lapine, who is my dōki and will replace me here with Gerritsen Chōrō,
Transfer through Shinjiku (Shinjiku Station)

 Whitewash, meet Elder Salamanopoulos

Shoutouts,
Elder Greer, who is training, you did it!
Gavin, who will go to Colombia to start his mission among the people of South America
Mom and Dad, who sent me biscuits

Thank you all, and I will have to catch you later,
愛しています!
マーフィー長老
町田は準備していますか

More from Dad's letter - So Connor has been sending me pictures of interesting things he has found around his area and I have been finding them on Google Maps.  Here is the latest subject.  Let me know if you find it and would like to try any of the others.  Good Luck!
